The youngling
Played and
Played let it
Do those things
Youth is gawky
Youth is clumsy
And the toy
Was broken
A tear a sigh
A keening sound
A mournful sound
And sadness
And the youngling
Knew pain inside
Though it tried
It could not
Fix its pet
Human being
